The Tramadol High
Because tramadol is a pain reliever and is similar to a narcotic, it can make a person feel high. Tramadol must be prescribed by a doctor and is used to relieve pain at mid to high levels and is helpful for other purposes, but when taken in high doses or in excessive amounts, it can make a person have a high feeling. Tramadol can cause one to feel a calming effect or a sense of euphoria that is sometimes called a high but good feeling that lasts for a few hours, but taking too many tramadol can be overly dangerous.
Tramadol has an effect on the brain in the same way that morphine does. It affects serotonin and noradrenalin as well in the brain which causes a general high feeling and eases pain.
Along with making a person feel high at times, tramadol has caused some people to have seizures, especially if you have a history of seizures or if you are combining it with other medications you’re currently taking. If you feel overly high or feel that you are overdosing, you will need to seek medication attention. Because tramadol can be habit forming, you should never give it to another person or tell your doctor if it is making you feel high or not well. An overdose of tramadol can be life threatening and even fatal.
Taking tramadol is not recommended if you have been drinking or taking any kind of drugs such as pain medications, tranquilizers, depression medication or other things that would add to the effects of tramadol. Doing so can produce a high feeling and other bad side effects.
It is very important to get clear instructions on how to take tramadol and when to take it. There are many different strengths as well as forms to take and you must be sure to not take two forms of it without knowing it. Capsules must be swallowed to keep the side effects down and other forms have same similar instructions that are important for one taking the drug.
To avoid a high feeling or any other bad effects from tramadol, one should tell their doctor if they have any current existing conditions such as stomach disorder, depression or a past history of depression, diseases involving the liver or even thoughts of suicide.
